This week's bulletin was sent out earlier

3C, EQUATORIAL GUINEA (Update)
Ken, LA7GIA, will be active as 3C7GIA
(pending) from Malabo Island (AF-010) between November 12-23rd (not
October 10-22nd as first announced). Activity will be on 80-10 meters.

B, CHINA
Members of the Chinese Radio Amateur's Club (CRAC) and Chinese
Radio Sports Association (CRSA) will be organizing HQ stations during
this year's 2015 IARU HF World Championship (July 11-12th). Look for the
following stations:
B1HQ -- 40m CW and 80m SSB B5HQ -- CW - 15m, 80m and 160mQSL all callsigns via BA4EG: Zheng Feng, 618-11-602 Huan Lin Xi Lu, Shanghai 200123, China.

C6, BAHAMAS (Update)
After working in the country for 18 months, Tim,
C6ATH, has departed the Bahamas and returned to the USA. Any contacts
with C6ATH after 05/10/15 may be considered fraudulent. Also, his Bahamian
license expired in June, and he did not apply for renewal, so the callsign
is no longer a valid one. He will still honor QSL requests for contacts
made prior to May 10, 2015. QSL info may be found on QRZ.com under C6ATH
or AF1G.
CY9, ST. PAUL ISLAND (Update)
The St. Paul Island DXpedition scheduled
for July 2016 has added another new member/operator to the team -- Bill,
K5DHY. Bill is an avid DX'er, and officer of the LSDXA. The team thanks
all who completed the survey on their website. Needs were clearly made
for 6m and RTTY. They will plan to have a RTTY mode running most of the
time; for sure they will keep an eye on 6m. Visit their Web site often

D6, COMOROS
Ken, LA7GIA, will be on a one man DXpedition to Comoros (D6)
between September 1423rd. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using CW, SSB
and RTTY. Using a TS- 480 with a 500 watt amp, his antennas will be a
yagi for (20/15/10m) and an all band vertical. Ken states, "QTH has
excellent take off to NA/SA/EU. I will prioritize NA during evenings,
great conditions are expected on 15m. License D67A to be issued this
or next week." He is looking for sponsors. He has a Web page up and

E5, SOUTH COOK ISLANDS
Steve, KL7SB, is once again active as E51RAT
from Rarotonga Island (OC-013) until July 12th. Activity will be on
40-10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via NI5DX.
ET,ETHIOPIA
Operators Andy/UR4LRQ, Yaroslav/UW7LL and Igor/UY5LW will
be active as ET3AA from the Ethiopian Amateur Radio Society club station
until August 21st. Activity will be on the HF Bands. QSLs for this
operation only via US0LW.
FY, FRENCH GUYANA
Christian, F5UII, will once again be active as FY/F5UII
from the radio club station FY5KE in Kourou City between July 20-28th.
Activity will be limited because of his work, but look for him on 80-10
meters on SSB. He suggests to look for him during the weekday mornings
about 1000-1100z and after 2100z. He may also make a side trip to Royal
Island (SA-020) during the RSGB IOTA Contest. QSL via his home callsign,

GC4, WALES (Special Event)
Glyn, GW0ANA, will activate the special
event station GC4BRS from Penarth Pier, a Victorian Pier built in 1894,
on Saturday the 11th of July. Glyn states, "This special event will be
transmitting from the end of the pier just like a little "Peninsular
jutting out into the Bristol Channel" Ham radio Heaven." Info on pier

HAM RADIO 2015 LECTURES
Wolf Harranth, OE1WHC, from the Amateur Radio
Section of ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) and the Documentary
Archives Radio Communications/QSL Collection, reports: Powerpoint presenta-
tions with synchronized audio of keynote lectures at the Friedrichshafen

HV0, VATICAN
Sandro, VE7NY, will be active as HV0A from Vatican between
July 16-19th. Activity will be on the HF Bands using CW, SSB and RTTY.

II0, ITALY
Look for the Italian Headquarter team to represent the
Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (ARI) as II0HQ during the IARU HF
World Championship (July 11-12th). QSL via the Bureau or LoTW.
IOTA NEWS
AS-060. Kag, DS4DRE, will be active as DS4DRE/4 from Ui Island (WLOTA
1102) between July 15-31st. Activity will be on 80-10 meters
using CW and SSB. QSL via his home callsign, direct or by the
Bureau.
AS-143. Operators Chen/BA7CK and Wu/BA7IA will be on a business trip to Yongxing Island for about 4-6 weeks. They will be on the air during their spare time, mostly on 20-6 meters using the IOTA frequencies and on CW/SSB/RTTY modes. QSL BA7CK via BA4TB, and BA7IA via his home callsign.
EU-028. Davide, IZ2ZOT, will be active as IA5/IZ2ZOT from Elba Island (IIA T016, MIA MI-022, WLOTA 0609) between now and July 18th. Operations are usually on SSB and the Digital modes. QSL via his home callsign, direct, by the Bureau, LoTW or eQSL.
EU-054. Sal, IT9BXR, will once again be active as IF9/IT9BXR from Favignana Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th) as a Single-Op/DXpedition entry. QSL via IT9BXR.
EU-131. Members of the ARI Mestre Team will be active as IQ3ME/p from Lido Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th) as a Multi-Single entry. QSL via the Bureau.
EU-169. Alfredo, IK7JWX, and a team of operators will go on their third Italian IOTA DXpedition. Their next operation will be to Sazan Island (M.I.A. MA-01, ARLHS ALB-04 + 19 + 20, ILLW L-028, WW Loc JN90PM) between September 2-9th. The team received their callsign and license this week. Callsign will be ZA0I. EU-172. Jan, ON7JA, will be active as OZ/ON7JA from Isle Fyn during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). QSL via ON7JA.
EU-175. Joao, CU3AA, will be active as CU5/CU3DX from São Jorge Island between July 11-12th. Due to the IARU HF World Championship, 17 meters SSB will be the band mostly used. This activity will count for the awards: CTFF-0124, CUFF-005, WCA CT-00416, DMHP AZ-068, ARLHS AZO-019, WLOTA WL-1004, DFFP FP-145, DFP FAZ-05, PIP AC-005, DIP AZ-005, DMP 1904 and DDFP VLS-03. NA-055. Mike, W2IY, will be active from Mount Desert Island (USI ME-021S, WLOTA 1129, Hancock County, Maine) between now and August 5th. Activity will be holiday style and also include an entry in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). QSL via his home callsign, by the Bureau or direct.
NA-067. Jon, WB8YJF, will once again be active as WB8YJF/4 from Ocracoke Island (USI NC001S) between July 19-26th. Activity will be on CW, SSB, and possibly RTTY. He plans to be in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). Please QSL direct for a fast QSL or via the Bureau.

PACIFIC TOUR
Look for Ulli, DL1AH, to activate a couple of islands
during/between September and November. Activity from the islands will
be holiday style, and mostly SSB (some Digital) using 100 watts into
a Triple Leg antenna for 40-10 meters. QSL only direct to his home

K3 transceiver with an ACOM 1000 amp into a CrankIR vertical with elevated

V5, NAMIBIA
Operators Andy/DL5CW, Thomas/DL5LYM and Gerhard/DJ5IW are
now active as V5/homecall from Namibia until July 15th. Activity will be
on the HF bands. QSL via their home callsigns. Look for them to be active
as V55HQ during the IARU HF World Championship (July 11-12th). QSL V55HQ
via DL9NDS.
VE690, CANADA
IARU President Tim Ellam, VE6SH, will be active from VE6SV's
Contest Station (with operators VE6SV, VE6SH, VE6RST and VE6LDX) using the
special callsign VE690IARU during the IARU HF World Championship (July
11-12th)as a Multi-Single entry and providing the “AC” multiplier. The
somewhat unique callsign celebrates the 90th anniversary of the founding
of the IARU in May, 1925. QSL by LoTW or direct via VE6SH.
W, UNITED STATES
Milt, N5IA, will be active as W1AW/5 from New Mexico
in the IARU HF World Championship (July 11-12th). Activity will be only
on 160 meters utilizing the N5BG/NI5T station. He will operate both
modes (CW/SSB), splitting up each hour into segments as the demand
requires.
Bill, K8TE, will be active as W1AW/5 and operate 10 meter CW, and 40 meter SSB when 10m is closed. He mentions that they will have six other stations who will keep W1AW/5 on-the-air for the entire event.
XW, LAOS
Champ, E21EIC, is once again active as XW1IC from Laos between
now and July 14th. QSL via OQRS or E21EIC.
ZA, ALBANIA
Slava, US2YW, is now active as ZA/US2YW from Ksamil until
July 16th. Activity will be holiday style 40-6 meters using CW and SSB.
Most of his activity will be on meters using a TS-590 and Inverted Vee

ZF, CAYMAN ISLANDS
Bill, W5SJ, will once again be active as ZF2EZ from
Grand Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA LH-1042) between July 16-20th. Some
operations will be from the "Cayman Amateur Radio Society" (ZF1A) club
station and some from the QTH of Andrew/ZF1EJ's shack. Activity will be

2015 IARU CONTEST
The 2015 International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) HF
World Championship is this weekend between July 11th at 1200 UTC and
July 12th 1200 UTC. The object of the contest is to contact other amateurs
around the world, especially IARU officials and member-society HQ stations
in as many ITU zones as possible. Look for activity on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15,
and 10 meters using CW and SSB. You will find detailed information at:
